NATURAL GAS /CNG / LCNG / LNG Marketing

The company is into Natural gas production & marketing and planning foraying into CNG marketing in the east & west godavari dist and Kakinada & Vijayawada city gas distribution geographic area of Andhra pradesh by setting up CNG stations. Necessary permissions are being obtained from the Petroleum & Natural Gas Regulatory board, New delhi, India. The source of natural gas is the gas being produced at the company’s 7 gas fields in the Krishna-Godavari basin. Similar gas marketing initiatives are being undertaken in Tamilnadu and Assam with the gas from the 3 isolated wells operated by the company in these geographies.

Inview of the company’s own gas production being available from it’s DSF / Marginal / Isolated gas fields, the company is eligible for partnering the city gas distribution operators in the region and the company is under negotiations with three such operators.The company will foray into LCNG / LNG marketing in South India, when the group’s LNG import terminal will be commissioned by 2019 at the Krishnapatnam port, Andhra Pradesh

 

LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas)—LNG Bharat Pvt Ltd

The Company is setting up 5 mmtpa LNG Terminal at the largest private sector port on the East Coast of India, the Krishnapatnam port. The final environmental clearence from the Ministry of Environment and forests has been received, the NOC from PNGRB has been obtained, the FEED is complete and the execution of the project is underway and is expected to be commissioned by 2019. The 5 MMTPA terminal will be commissioned in 2 stages with the RLNG being supplied through the upcoming Ennore-Nellore-Krishnapatnam port gas pipeline to the customers in south Andhra pradesh & North Tamilnadu, and LNG being transported from the terminal in cryogenic trucks to non pipeline customers in Andhra pradesh, Telangana, Tamilnadu, Karnataka & Pondicherry.

Pipeline Gas Transportation—- Gas Transmission India Pvt Ltd

With a view to establish itself as an integrated gas chain player, the group has participated in the international competitive bidding for the Ennore-Nellore-Krishnapatnam port-Renigunta gas transportation pipeline and has been awarded the same by the Govt of India. The group received the LOA from the pipeline regulator PNGRB for the laying and operation of the above pipeline for a period of 25 + 10 years. The 250 km, 24 inch and 36 MMScmd carrying capacity gas pipeline will be commissioned by 2019. This pipeline will evacuate the RLNG from the Krishnapatnam LNG terminal of LNG Bharat and the Indian Oil Corporation LNG terminal at Kamarajar port..
